Deka batteries...
Yup,like you said,it's likely a diff of some kind in the software & or device thats sending some people to the new site with higher price & or leaving other people on the old site with lower price.
Anyone having issues buying the battery for only $132 online could call Phatt perf directly and act like they dont know anythings going on simply asking to make the purchase over the phone for the Yuasa GYZ32HL they saw for $132 on their HD parts website to see if they Honor it having nothing to loose giving it a try.

After another 2 year Deka I decided it was time for a change. Battery Mart couldn't get the Yuasa battery mentioned above but they could get a Power Source "Lightning Start" WPX30L-LS Which CLAIMED 600 CCA. Battery Mart doesn't list that battery on their web site but they can get it with a phone request. I don't trust the 600 CCA claim but if it is around 450 to 500 in reality, that isn't too bad. It is Chinese, but Battery Mart said the manufacturer was a trusted source they have worked with for a long time. I am just entering my second year so I haven't crossed the Deka 2 year threshold with this battery yet. This battery was about $90 last year. I only mention this as an option if the Yuasa battery has gone up to close to the Harley in store price and you are ready for something other than another Deka. The Dekas never rally failed, they just got tired, slow cranking but never left me stranded.
I have a 2008 Road King 96 CI, stock but with a Cycle Electric voltage regulator after the factory unit failed. The new VR has given excellent service for over 4 years and 40,000 miles (now at over 85,000 total miles.)
maybe 16 to 18 mo. I know, I am smarter than to buy anything from
china, but they build a lot of good things out of lead. Like the bearing
that came in my 08 RKC! Good luck with your China Batt, BTSOM..

Your not the 1st to have short srv'c life issues with the Litghtning start battery because i have seen a few others guys post here in HD forums over the past few yrs that they had premature failures with that battery.
1 guy went thru 2 of them in 1.5-2yrs and gave up after that.
The guys that are consistently only getting 2yrs or so out of the deka batteries either have excessive engine heat killing them early and or may have some sort charging issues going too.
Deka's ETX30L is an above avg quality battery that i have personally got 7 yrs out of and have also seen them them go 5.5-6yrs in bikes i srvc for other people too.
I installed a Deka agm in my friends 1700cc v-twin 11/2009 that was still going strong last time i rode with him end of 2016 thats now 7+yrs old too.
I decided to try something new and went for Yuasa's new top of the line maint free factory activated GYZ32HL/500cca AGM battery for $132 from Phattperf online that i installed 4/2016.
Prior to installing the new yuasa battery i ensured it was fully charged and let it sit overnight to stabilize.
Then for ha ha's i checked it's voltaeg/cca's with a digital battery tester i have and it showed 12.95-13v's & 620cca's or so & approx 60-70deg f.
But your supposed to test cca's @ " 0 " deg f so when i checked cca's @ 60-70 deg f higher temp the battery will put out more cranking amps & why it showed 620cca's or so when i tested vs the factory 500cca rating.
CA/cranking amps are checked at 32deg f which is always a higher reading/result,but o dont know if the digital battery tester thats is an automatic tester compensates for temp (battery or outside air temp) when processing cca's
Hope to get a min of 4.5-5+yrs out of the Yuasa, but only time will tell on that one.
