Default fender plug options

A while back I switched to a solo seat and am now wondering what my options are for filling the screw hole in the middle of the fender. I've just put back the original phillips screw but it rattles and IMO doesn't look all that great. Any ideas?

I purchased a set (pkg of 4) of license plate bolts with the bar & shield logo. One for the seat hold-down and the rest replaced the windshield torx (sp) screws. They look real slick

they have some nice chrome screw caps you can put in. Those philips head bolts are ugly.

I would use a cap on it. HD has one and there are other vendors who have 'em. I think the under-bolt is a held in place by a lil snap ring or bowed e-ring on the underside (can't remember for sure). Don't want that bolt to end up falling down or you end up droppin the rear tire to try and get that bolt back up in there.

When my buddys wife took posession of her new sportster she had a solo seat installed at the time of delivery. they removed the post in therearfender and put a little plastic plug in place. It looks real clean and like it belongs there.

I use an RK Standard solo on my '04 EG. The hole in the rear fender has a threaded insert and plastic retaining clip that holds it. I purchased a threaded chrome plastic cap screw that HD sells to cover the insert and clip. Looks very clean and, when I use the passenger pillion, I remove it and store itin a hole on the inside bottom of the passenger pillion.
