Hey guys, can you tell me if there is any type of fuel filter or screen on an 05 rd king fuel injection. If not what happens if you get crappy gas?

The fuel filter is inside the tank.

the fuel filter on en EFI bike is attached to the actual fuel pump located inside the tank. The service manual recommends replacing the filter every 25K miles. Its not too difficult to replace the filter...the hard part is removing the fuel pump from the tank. That process is very aggrivating, but do-able.

Yup, comes as a fuel filter kit, and you're supposed to use 10 new screws with the gasket set up.

Do these part numbers apply to the 2006 models, too?
