Check out the McBagger website that I listed in my post, you retain your full amount of stock travel and rake and trail. That's the reason I have decided to use their kit. Friend of mine is using their 26" kit and I rode it from Palm Springs to Vegas last October and the handling is awesome imho.

Should have said you retain rake and trail numbers approx to stock seeing as you are changing the rake

Not sure how a 23 or 26 inch wheel rides or handles but the
Battistinis leading Axel fork legs kit looks like a nice way to go
for a 23" wheel.

thanks for your input everyone. I was under the impression that you retain rake and trail numbers with the American Suspension bolt on kit as well. I also heard the MCBaggers is made in Korea and its tough to get any kind of customer support.

Imagine this is you will; A chick with a big *** and no rack?

That's what the "skinny tire" or bicycle fad looks like to me but hey whatever works for you.
Put a 30 inch on there. I'll still laugh.

First of, I plan on stretching the bags and the fender. So she will have *** and a rack. Secondly, the question was for people who have ridden either a 23" or a 26" Not what anyone thinks of big wheeled custom baggers. Personally I think your bike looks like an old farts bike.

If you don't think this bike looks badass, then you don't know what badass looks like sir.

Well, now you done did it. I was going to leave this alone b/c you were asking specifically about rider's experience and I do believe that replies should be just that. But...now you opened Pandora's box with that statement.

So, no, I don't think that looks bad ***. Looks like a fool's bike to me. The space between the bars and the tank is an eyesore. The gap between the bags and side covers looks tacky, undone, and unfinished. Seat looks horrible at best. And that's before I actually get my hands on it to test real-world functionality. I have been up close and personal with bikes like this and they are a show piece, a rolling paint job more or less.

I just don't get the whole idea behind being obsessed with what your ride looks like in a parking lot. But hey, that's you....but don't tell me it's bad *** or don't know what bad *** looks like b/c I am not a fan of these clown bikes. I would LOVE to see that thing take a few of the potholes I hit just riding back and forth to work.
