I'm thinking of buying Rush slip ons, 2.5" baffles, straight cut. Does anyone have these? How do they sound? How loud are they? I want a nice Harley sound without collecting tickets from the local PD.
I have heard that the 2.5s are a bit much and people are running the 2.0s instead. Depends on how loud you like it. I too am in the market for pipes and in my city you don't wanna get close to pokey cause he loves to write tickets for loud pipes. There have been a couple of other threads posted on here about rush pipes. My stealer even said the 2.0s were better because of the cruise aspect of it. 2.5s are even loud at cruise. Good luck and you might wanna hang out at the local stealer and see if you can find another scoot with them already on and listen. Or call the stealer and ask if they have any bikes with them on and ask if you can listen to them. IMHO.... Remi

To follow-up on what Remi said, the 2.5's are reportedly too big for '07 engines, and installing them will hurt overall performance. Not sure about the effect on smaller TC's. I have the 1.75's and the performance is great, the loudness plenty for my taste. I can hear the radio now, but any louder would be too much, IMO.
I just ordered 2' Russh slip ons, K&N A/C,and the Power Commander from Fuel-Moto today. They said I should have them at the house 2 to 3 weeks. Cost was $687 and shipping was free. Will let you know what I think when I get them on.

Looks like you need to overpower the mufflers so you can hear the radio. Problem solved with a set of HOGTUNES.
