I am new to the Ultra. But I have had 3 Diamond Seats on Gold Wings and Valkyrie. You can ride all day and not know it.
Could you tell me more, elaborate on the feel and seating posistion of the Diamond. What makes it a great seat. I have read nothing but great things about their seats from the Wing, and Beamer crowd, and would like to know more. Thanks
I just put My new Mustang one piece with rider backrest on 2 hours ago and took it for a 25 or 30 mile ride.It is damn comfy. The only problem I can see is that it raised Me up about 2 inches.I'm only 5'6" so this might be a problem[:@] which sucks because I really like the seat.[&o]
I have a couple riding buddies that have Corbins and they love them. I Just dropped $1500 for a Corbin Dual tour seat with tourpack back rest and driver back rest ,,,
and well..
the jury is still out...
It was supposed to be closer than a regular seat but not as close as the "close" seat that they offer.. Would like to be closer so I'm going to adjust bars to see if that helps. Might have to send it back for some alterations. I guess you get one free alteration. When I ordered they said it would be 3 weeks and it was 6 weeks so I'm afraid to see how long it will take to get it altered.
Seat itself provides good support I just feel like I'm pretty far back and reaching for the bars (and I have reduced reach bars).
Time will tell.. Wife feels too crowded (going to have to move Tourpack back) and she thinks its too hard - I think she's still stinging from the $ 1500 I spent
I have found any Harley seat is uncomfortable on long rides, I.M.O. Corbin is hands down the best , a close 2nd is a Mustang , be prepared to pay at least $500 OUCH ! I am currently saving my pennies for a Corbin duel touring seat .

I'm thinking of changing the stock seat on my 07 Ultra. It really is a pain in the a#$%^. I'm considering a Mustang one piece. Wondering what you folks like best for a seat???
Well I picked up a dual touring corbin at Bike week - and it is hard as a rock - but a very nicely built seat.
It is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the stock seat because it spreads the load better.
The leather is awesome and its going to hold up - I can tell. My friends have Mustangs - and they are marine grade vinyl - but I think they are probably more comfortable. They won't last as long though. They don't cost as much either.
Hit some bike shows and find a bike like yours and some seats you're interested in and ask if you can sit on it, ask first and talk to the owner is he aound the same size, just to ask what kind of seat is tough, different seats for different folks
