That depends how loud you go with the new pipes. I have some Kerker slip-ons with the baffle packing removed, which is the loudest configuration for those pipes, andI can still hear the radio just fine. I probably have to turn up the radio a bit more, but it's not like I have to 'blast' the volume. It's a small compromise.

Relli...what I did is put a set of V&H duals on my SG then changed the stock speakers to a set of hogtunes and with my pipes on it and my little 4 inch windshield I can still hear my radio loud and clear...

Do yourself a big favor and consider the Supertrapp two into one pipes. They really add performance as well as giving you a low rumble that is not over bearing. Easy to talk over.

I have the Rinehart TD's installed and love the sound of them. Nice low rumble without being obnoxious. I can still hear the music through the stock speakers but I am getting ready to upgrade to the J&M replacements. The stock speakers distort pretty badly as you crank up the volume.

Rush 1.75 baffles sound good and you can still hear the radio. However, I just ordered HogTunes. I want to hear the radio REAL good.

I installed the Supertrapp SE's (andPCIII and SEAC)and some Hog Tunes speakers on our Street Glide, and while the exhaust is probably a little quieter than I was hoping for, I can hear the radio just fine.
