I picked up an 06 Electra Glide Classic today for 15 and change with a mere 2400 miles. I think I got it for a good price as compared to a new one. The best part was I paid cash and dont have to take a loan out. That is what made the decision real easy. No real pointtothis thread just excited. Now I have an 03 Fatboy to sell!!!
Congrats on the new scooter & yes, no payments are the way to go. Did the same on my Road Glide. Enjoy it!
I'll be the first to say - aaahhh no.
If anyone that would like to drop 15 to 25 grand cach into a assett that will drop in value sees it as the better way to go....please send me the cash and a payment book. I'll lmake sure the payment is made and turn your 15 into 25 in 12-18 months then pay off your bike and pocket the 10 grand.
No this does not need to be a big rant and I'm not saying a.boogeyman does not have his own plan for the future - I just know the power of cash and invested 20K into a investment instead of ripping a check for my SG. In about 2 years I'll have my bike (paid for) and a extra 10 - 15 grand.
