I've got a '13 Road Glide Ultra with the 103". I installed some slip-ons, AN big sucker with the V&H FP3 tune. The bike pulls pretty good with two up riding.

His bike was probably still running the 103HO fuel map without the correct cams which could easily cause it to idle and run rough.

The 103HO was put into effect as part of the Rushmore model updates so all the '14-'16 touring bikes got this setup, cooled or not. I believe in '16 they also put the 103HO in the other lineups (Dyna and Softail) as well.

Has anyone dropped the HO cams into a pre-rushmore 103? I would assume you would need to then add some type of fuel controller as well.

Why do some say 103HO on the air cleaner and some don't? I was checking out a used 15 SG and it just said 103.

I do know that the twin cooled have higher compression than the regular air cooled, even in the Rushmore bikes. That's why I was thinking they considered the twin cooled the HO engine.
