Ive been looking at one ever since I got my 06Ultra. Every SE ultra I have looked at looked like a third grader painted it. I cant believe how much orange peel is on them. I guess I,ll wait a till they come out again to see if the paint is any better. Bee my luck, they will make them water cooled and I,ll really be PO.
The same guy has a 2006 SEUltra 103", he says it's geared differently and actually seems to pull harder, tho it signs off quicker than the 07 SE. BTW, the 06 is setup as a single rider bike, while the 07 is for 2up. Must be nice to have that kind of dough.
If you are going to spend a lot of $ on extras for your bike, you might consider the SE. The labor is already paid for, and most importantly, the SE has a Blue Book value. You really have to find the right buyer to get your money back on a stock bike that you put a bunch of money into.
