This is what I just put in, 600 CCA. Even in the cold it spins the engine like its a Gatling gun. Very awesome.

Do you know what the country of manufacture for that battery is? TIA

For a stock 2014 Street Glide, is 500 CCA harmful to the bike or waste of money?
If it is not harmful then what will 500 CCA give me that a 400 CCA cant'?
Simply put, Amperage is the 'available capacity' to supply a certain level of Voltage. This means a 500 CCA battery can supply voltage for a longer period of time than a 400 CCA battery, perfectly safe for your bike. Voltage on the other hand is called "Electromotive Force," too much or too little of it outside your electrical/electronics designed parameters will fail it.

I think it comes from China, but not sure. I just got it so time will tell.

I recently installed the Yuasa in my 2010 Ultra and I've been very happy with it.

maybe. maybe not. your battery is going on 2 years old. seems like the average is between 2 and 3 years on these batteries. sure, you've got the odd guy out who says he got 9 years out of his battery, but then you've also got the ones who get a little over a year. depending on your locale (earth is a pretty vague description), could make the difference. heat is a bigger killer than the cold. I live in la, after 3 years, I consider it living on borrowed time.

I've got a 2010 CVO that I bought in Sept 2009 and it still has the original battery. It still cranks, but I'm replacing it this year as I'm aware I'm pushing it's life to the edge and it's performance isn't what it used to be.

To add to its age, I've also pulled the 110" and replaced it with a 126" engine. I'll be looking pretty soon at something new. Threads like this have piqued my interest as of late.

This was my previous battery. Lasted exactly 14mos and went dead as a hammer. Replaced with a Deka and no problems since.
