It cost me $250 bucks , which I thought was a little high at first but I thought a can spend that on a few chrome covers . As far as clear coat question , there is none . I have never had a bike striped but I have had a few trucks done and it lasted as long as I had the vehicle . Here is the guys web site: http://wizardairbrushgraphics.com/
I think a green flame would look great on your bike , go for it !

I was thinking of doing this in a green flame over my black pearl paint. I have the same question, do you need to apply a clear coat? How long will it last under normal washing, and what did it run you? Thanks.
I had mine done in PHX, Arizona and for the fairing, Tank, side covers and the rear fender it was $400. two colors with no clear over it. You have to disassemble the bike with the clear coating. I wax and wash the bike.(for you smart a$$'s) with out a problem. Use a spray on lite wax without to much abrasive qualities.

hd2007, that striping looks f-ing sweet! I'm planning to paint my 01 Ultra next winter and I've been thinking about flames like that. Now I know I'll do it. Mine will be silver on vivid black.
