Why do you want one so tall? I have one for my Road King but not sure of the height as I usually have a Memphis Shades fairing on it in the winter months. Have LRS re-curve on both bikes and they are great at pushing the wind over your head. Also I personally do not care for looking through but instead over a shield.

Just measured mine and it is 15" from bottom of shield to the top. Have had mine for quite a while so a call would do it. Have bought so many of their shields I kept their number. (775) 331-3789. BTW. mine are all dark tint since I look over them. Best of luck!!!
Just checked LRS website and they are on sale for $77.00 + S&H. Also Keith is right and the shortest they currently offer is 16". Maybe I am not measuring mine correctly or they no longer make a 15"? IDK but I would be jumping on it before the sale is over. Their regular price is $134.00
That's correct.
I have a 16, and can look over it. I just thought of getting one with the re-curve, slightly shorter.
Do you not want to look over it? I ask just because it's my preference to see over instead of look through a windshield. You might feel differently. I've got a 2001 RKC that came with a damned 20 incher. I was looking partially over and partially through that thing. It was like looking through bifocals. I put the 16 inch LRS Elite on and it's perfect for my short 5'8" self. I can see over it but the recurve keeps the wind out of my face and I've got no head buffeting.
Having had many ear surgeries in childhood, I ride with earplugs on my Fat Boy with no shield. I don't have to use them on the RK with my LRS.
If this helps, the actual measurement of the shield itself from the cutout above the headlight (just below the LRS emblem) to the top edge of the recurve is 14 7/8. You have to look close at this photo to see the bottom edge of the windshield. Also, you mention a 5 hole windshield. Mine and most that I've seen of this style have 9.
And once again the photo is posted normally, but the damned thumbnail shows it rotated a quarter turn. Is there a way to make it not do this? It's irritating as hell.
