Default E-bay Corbin back rest

They have some after market back rest for Corbin seat on e bay, has anyone ever tried these, or are they not worth it ?

yes...do not waste your money...the fit is terrible...they force you about an inch forward...no matter how you adjust them the bottom sticks out way past the lumbar support.

Tnx, good to know, have a dual tour I just got, waiting to see if I need a back rest, if weather breaks, saw those for the cheap, and wondered

I just picked up a genuine Corbin backrest at a swap meet in new condition for $20! Felt like I hit the lottery

OK, hate to ask, but do you have to remove the seat, to remove the back rest?, I don't think i'd like that, I found one to buy, but if i have to take the seat of to remove, probably gonna pass

Yes, the seat must be removed. The backrest slides down the channel in the seat, then is attached with a 1/4-20 bolt or screw. Takes about 90 seconds on my '97 because there is no tour pack.
