E-bay Corbin back rest
Depends on the model. On mine, the backrest pivots forward and you can get to the screw through the mounting hole.
It's always worth checking a manufacturer's website:
"Simple installation! Corbin saddle installs with a tongue in the front and a single screw in the fender at the rear."
"Corbin Backrest System: The first and most versatile removable backrest system available for motorcycles!"
There is probably more, if you take a look.

I have an old Corbin backrest that I will sell for $40.00 plus shipping to you. Just PM me if you are interested and would like to see photos.
I purchased it for my Road King. My problem is my arms are too short to use the backrest. I can't lean back at all and still hang on to the grips.

FWIW, i got the kury backrest and i really enjoy it. it's a pita to adjust because the adjustment is under the seat, but once it's there, it's there. looks clean to me. you can pull it out and throw it in a saddlebag for overnight storage. YMMV
