Antenna cable stud
So here's something that's baffling the snot outta me: I want to make a hidden antenna mount behind my bag on my 06 FLHT, simple enough right? Here's the glitch: the OEM cable is long enough for my needs, but apparently nobody on earth knows what the end of the cable actually is (or do they?). My initial thought was to use a stud mount commonly used for mounting CB antennas, but those are 5/8" UHF connectors and this is what I can figure 13mm. Second issue is that the cable is the female, not the male. I've had a few HAM radio guys look at it as well as a car audio specialist, nobody has ever seen that plug. Internet searches seem to all be dead ends. The radio end is a standard Motorola plug so I could just replace the whole cable, or solder a standard connecter in lieu of the seemingly proprietary connector, but surely HD didn't waste money developing such a thing. So I bring it to you Harley gurus, anyone know what this damn thing is????

If you are looking for the part which has the cable attach on one side and the Antenna whip attaches to the other and can be attached to a bracket it is the Antenna base joint assembly P/N 76354-00. Newcastle Hd sells them on their site for around $5.

I am not sure what you are looking for (male or female connector, one side threaded? both sides threaded)? Do a search for Motorola Antenna Connector, Threaded, 13mm. You can also do the same search replacing Motorola with RCA. That should get you what you need.
