Default Thinking about a Roadking

Always been a softail owner but now thinking about a Roadking. I`d really like a 09-11 if possible, don`t really have a huge budget. Anything that I should look out for and whats the best year?

Thanks for the help

Well, there arent many years between 09 and 11, I'd go with the newest bike you can afford.

Yes, yes, THE 2011!!
Look for the "Power Pack" option - ABS, Cruise, and Security!

We`ll i`d like RK thats as new as possible, but I only have a budget of 10-12k. Maybe alittle more for a perfect bike. Thats why I was looking at 09-11`s.

And, the 103 motor is a big plus, along with the 6 speed...

I bought my 2011 RK FLHR in April, 2800 miles on it. The only options it had were RCX Slip ons and riders backrest, 4 pt docking, OEM luggage rack and back rest Vivid Black, spotless, from a HD dealer. Paid $11,900 plus taxes. Yes it's a 96 CI, which I prefer.

I like and have both. A 96 FLSTN and an 07 SERK. You'll find the right one, just keep looking around.

If you can find an 11 with the power pac 103 rhat would be your best bet but anything in those years will work. I have a 2010 and a 2016. There are differences but I ride them both equally. I did upgrade the motor in the 10 though.
