LRS all the way. Ideally, the top of the shield is even with your upper lip

I have a 6 1/2" Klock Werks on my 2013 Street Glide and it helps with the buffering. I recently bought a 2015 ultra and put a 8" med. grey tint recurve shield from Freedom Shields on it. It is a nicer looking windshield and heavier than the Klock Werks shield. Haven't done much riding yet but the few times I've been out this year it seams great and looks really good on the bike.It was a little over 100.00 with shipping. There are a lot of less expensive windshields out there but in my opinion you won't find a better made one than this.

Probably prior to shipping rate applies. i just got one, was 39, 59 after shipping, still great deal

Yeah, that's about right. The Ultra Elite is $58 on sale, but $22 shipping when buying direct from LRS. I saved $10 by buying it on Amazon for $69 w/free shipping. The best part was that I ordered Monday, it shipped same-day, and I got it today (Wednesday)!

+1 for Long Ride Shields. I ran with three different windshields over time (1 oem, 2 memphis shades) before finding a LRS that was perfect. They are a relative good value compared to some of the other brands as an added bonus.

+1 for the Klockwerks Flare. Keeps the wind noise down, too. I can hear the cages tires on the pavement, never noticed that before.

Yep, '14 Ultra with a LRS curved windshield, 1" or 2" shorter then stock. Despite the shorter windscreen, the wind stream has risen over my head. Likewise, bugs and misc. road debris that used to strike my helmet, now generally gets launched up & over my head.
