I have a set of OEM mufflers from a 06 RK, and a OEM set from a 12 EGC. I was just wondering if these are the same on the inside (bafflels). I know they will fit all the same touring from bikes.
What i'm wondering is if one is less restrictive (louder) than the other, even though i'm sure any difference is probably minor.

The mufflers on the 2012 are more free flowing than the 2006 mufflers, because of the Catalytic Converter.

Installed on your '12 EGC, the '12 mufflers will be a tad louder than the mufflers off the '06, as the'06 mufflers were designed for a bike with no cat in the headpipe.
