I guess what I'm trying to say is these guys Roland Sands, Performance Machine, RC Components, yadda yadda yadda, are no where near as large as H-D Motor Company and in all honesty these guys started their endeavors as bikers, real racers and wanted to build their brand up much like William S Harley and Arthur Davidson.
and I'm just hounding you. I don't think anyone is offended. I'm not. But personally I feel Roland Sands has paid his dues and built his brand from the ground up. The fact of the matter that so many people like his products and he has grown a mega aftermarket company is only by our doing. He had no idea people would like what he built...he just built what he liked.
Hell I won't buy stuff from Kuryakyn. Just my choice but whatever.
My condolences. I personally would never drop a dime on the big name/ego brand items when there are better ways to spend your money. Do not mean to be a kill joy or rain on your parade but they have enough money and I do not.
Now say 5 Our Fathers along with 5 Hail Mary's and all will be good.
To each their own but the fact is while Roland may have been born with a silver spoon (plated) he has real hands-on machining, racing and design credentials. He and his dad (PM) make quality products right here in the USA. You may not want to pay for that but I have no problem with bikers becoming successful.
I wonder how much ya spend at the harley dealer??
