Not going to push one brand . I had a head cooling fans on my 2007,2011 and 2013. Then I went to a wet heads. I have some numbers the clearly show they work at reducing head temps. I used the Lenale the first one I had failed and Lenale took care of it. If anyone would like to see the results of the test, they are welcome to it.
The idea is to get air flow around the heads and out. I am sure many fans can do that.

Once I had the Wards installed, I did a controlled test with and without the fans. As the only two things I could document were the oil temp gauge and readings from a laser thermometer. With the fans running and later in the day, heads/block were cooler and the oil was 10+ degrees cooler. Don't remember when and where I posted it, but the fans definitely work.

Default $25 adaptor plugs

Sorry, I really don't get your point. Please explain the relationship. I'll be happy to respond

In the meantime, you should know that EVERY Love Jugs box contains a complimentary splicing kit that can be used on all installations. Everything that you need is included from an inline fuse holder, fuse, connectors, etc.

I hope this helps - Steve

I'm really confused here... I've followed the wards/ love jug back and forth loosely and know the background of the conflict between the two.... why have you copied wards design exactly...

It would be important for ya'll to say what temperature you think is too hot for you.
Condensation is burnt off at what at least 180 degrees which needs to happen.

What temp does oil hit it's flash point?
For example the other day it was in the 80's here in the Black Hills of SD I was riding in the hills and my temps were after the bike warmed up 180-230.
I found this to be acceptable.

What I find uncomfortable is the heat at times that is generated from the rear cylinder and seems to want to exit on the right side by my calve on my right let.
My understanding is blowing heat on the heads will blow the heat to the other side of the bike? It would be great if the fans would pull out the heat rather than blow it to the opposite side of the bike.

Having a good oil cooler is paramount for appropriate cooling as well.
The stock HD cooler is meh at best.
I have an oil bud and it does all of a 35 degree reduction and more.

I too would be interested in an official answer.

Since Jason Ward seems to have gone "radio silent" and LJ is now making a nearly if not identical product without talking about it I can draw my own conclusions. Which would be some sort of buy out/take over with a gag order as part of it.

Just my opinion but I think alot of the bad feelings we see posted would be eased if the story were known.

Leaving out brand. Not looking for an assault .here are some number for a reference.
The bike was a 2013 RGU 103 factory. Sitting still was the best way to ensure no misleading numbers.
Temp readings are from the DYNOJET tuner

Out side air was about 70 degrees
103 with lowers open
SYN 20/50 oil
Temp management off
No natural air flow
Started bike allowed to idle
At 261 turned on Fan
40 seconds dropped to 255
90seconds 239
120 seconds 225
at this point the drop slowed a bit
3 minutes 219
5 minutes holding 219 @ same 1000 rpms
7 minutes raised to 221
10 minutes 221 1000 rpms holding
Fan off
10 seconds 230
1 minute 248 climbing steady
1 minute 30 262
2 minutes 266
3 minutes 277
3minutes 20 280
4 minutes 293
FAN on drops of 1 degree per second or so
2 minutes 260
3 minutes 248
4 minutes slowed to 237
FAN off allowed to come to 331
Fan on
Fast drop
1 minute 289
came back down to 228

I have Wards fans on two touring bikes and on my Softail. They work extremely well. I have had a couple of issues with them over the years and Jason always took care of them no questions asked. I currently have one set that quit working and have not heard a peep back from Jason in weeks.
I broke down and ordered the Mighty-Mite which I received in record time. I had waited months to get my chrome fans for my Softail from Wards. He just couldn't keep up. The new fans look almost identical to my Wards fans. No thermostatic switch with the Mighty-Mite however. I will probably just wire them back through the switch I have installed from my Wards fans. I like the fact that I do not have to think about turning the fans on and off. In the past I had run my fans without a thermostatic switch and on cold days they worked so well my motor took forever to warmed up. I need to be at least 200 degrees in order for my tuner to get out of its warm up mode. I am not concerned at all with the cool down the switch provides once you shut down the motor but I do want my bikes to get to operating temp quickly.
I am hoping the new fans hold up a little better than the Wards fans. We will see

This NEW product requires an adapter to PNP into an OLD bike (2014+ models) Why does it not come with the correct plug for the Rushmore bikes?

I think that sounds reasonable.
