Default Battery replacement

Some aftermarket batteries include a plastic spacer to put under the battery to raise it up. I assume to make it easier to place in the box and attach the cables. Has anybody used one? Does it make the battery sit too high so the seat doesn't fit properly? It's about 1/2"
Thanks

Which ones include a spacer to put under? I've seen plastic spacers for side mount terminal options, but not to put underneath. I'd be worried about clearance up top. I don't have room with having to snap the ECU tray on top.

I think the spacer is just for the box the battery came in

I think you may be right. Imprinted on it says "height adapter" which led me to believe it would make for easier installation. It's a bitch to install cables when the battery sits low in the box. Having it a bit higher in the box would help.

Certain models require this lift. I just put a battery in my 08 Eglide and the lift was included. I did not want to raise the battery up any higher, the ECM sits on top and possibly hit the seat bottom.
Does your battery box have the nylon strap. It sits under the battery and with a pull, lifts the battery and can also be used to lower the battery.
