had my bike taken back to the dealer last week for the oil leak. they are in contact with moco.
what they are going to do now is replace the lower crank case. it is upsetting to think this is my first hd and i got a bad one with 5000 miles on it and its already had the engine rebuilt.
i would never give it up though iplan on keeping it for another 5-6 yrs when i will upgrade to an ultra or whatever they have then. just kinda down on this issue. i miss my bike.
That truly does suck to be without your bike especially when it's new and your first HD. Sorry to hear about the problem. You could use this time to upgrade and HD would probably eat some of the labor since they will be in there anyway. Maybe a stroker motor. Or let them take it back to stock and I'm sure it will run another 100,000 miles[sm=biker2.gif].
