It depends on what your needs really are. A lot of people like the daymakers, and sure, they are bright as heck. But, they suffer SEVERE tunnel vision, at least from what I've seen. I needed something wider, as I ride through a lot of unlit wooded roads with turns and animals lurking in the tress.
On recommendation from my dealership, I went with Cyron Urbans. They are almost as bright as daymakers straight ahead, but the wide angle side illumination is the best I've ever seen on a motorcycle headlight. For the first time, I'm able to see into the ditches on both sides of the road. I'm very happy with my purchase, and it would take a marvel of engineering to make me buy something different.

Sounds like what I'm looking for, I too ride through a lot of unlite canyons and areas with a lot of wildlife so being able to see a wide area would be beneficial. Do you have a website? Thank you all for the input, you have made my search much easier

I installed the 7" chrome version on my road king. The link is specific to that part, but you can use it as the starting point to find the right part for you. The "Urban" series are the wide setups, so if there is an urban for your bike, it should be right.
Note that some bikes (like mine) need a mounting bracket. The instructions were crap, but it was a common sense install. It took me about 20 minutes. The assembly is also spring mounted, which they say reduces vibration. I honestly am not sure how well that works because I didn't have too much of a problem with that in the first place.

I also ordered the aux lights, but I did so through the dealership and have not picked them up yet. Even with the original lights, and the new Cyron headlight, the sides are great. I will update this when I have them installed.
