The kickstand may not be your only issue with a lowering kit. Do you ride 2 up or solo only? When I lowered my old '00 RKC an inchtherear tire would strike the fender on moderateroad bumpswhen riding with a relatively light (120lbs)passenger. Got so annoying I took off the lowering kit.

You may consider cutting off the heel leveron the kickstand to see if that offers any reliefduring left turns.

Must be the lowering kit. I have a 07 SG and an 04 Road King Custom and have no problem at all. A friend of mine lowered his 07 RKC with shocks and he does not scrape the kick stand on left turns.
