dripping sound

I have a question on my 2016 street glide 103 and when I shut down the motor after riding and I listen closely I can hear a faint drip sound about 5-10 seconds apart and are just like a drop of water hitting a hot frying pan but there is no visible leaks anywhere and there are no burning smells and it sounds internal? Any thoughts

I understand the exhaust popping/pinging when cooling but this is a different sound and like I said a dripping sound and could it be oil hitting a hot surface somewhere internally?

Understand your concern, but motors make lots of noises (running and off). If there are no visible leaks, bike's running fine & no CELs...you're good. If you have a real concern, relay to your dealer's service dept for their assessment.
