Landing Gear?
at about 3800 dollars. they are a piece of crapp if you want to have a crash
you cannot trust these things mine folded and caused me to fall over several times, I took them back to chopper design about 3 times and they would try to fix them and said that they would not collapse. the least little place in the road or if you leaned over it would collapse and you would fall over and damage your bike if it starts to lean over the wheels will not pick the bike up they will collapse in a heartbeat. I finally sold my bike and bought a trike much safer and rides good will not fall. every testimonial I read praised them I cannot believe others have not had this same problem I am sure the testimonials picked out and the negative ones left out. if they had a check valve to keep them from folding they may be ok.
save the money and put it on a trike I have a set that I am trying to sell now almost give away. and chopper design will not buy them back.

If it malfunctions in the 'up' position while riding, at least you can stop and drop the kickstand the old fashioned way. But if it goes ****-up in the 'down' position while parked, you're dead in the water. Or else continuing on to Vegas real slow.
(1) The seller in FL demonstrated on his own bike on the parking lot and he made the thing look great. He would not allow me on his bike, so the first time I rode, using the device, was when I picked up my bike, after I had paid and Landing Gear was installed.
(2) I had a hard time when I first tried them on the parking lot but was convinced that I'd get used to using them. I did not.
(3) In the down position, they collapsed three times. Each time when I complained to the seller about the gear collapsing, he blew it off as "just a leak in the system. I can fix that." In one case, my wife was injured, getting a bad bruise and being sore for days.
(4) The "gear" is supposed to retract when one takes off with them down. However, they do not pick up together and that causes the bike to swerve dangerously.
(5) Even at very slow speeds, the gear is hard to use when not on a very smooth surface. On smooth surface, one has to go very slow and slip the clutch to keep going.
After two months, I was still having difficulty and I had no confidence that the gear would not collapse at the wrong time, when down.
I tried selling the rig, but no luck. I returned the rig to the seller who had said that he'd likely get me $2000 for it. I had paid $3500 plus tax. After some months, he got me $1800. I took the lose, as what other options did I have?
I would not recommend buying Landing Gear, unless you can test it out and feel that you can benefit from it. Even then, the collapsing suddenly, was a huge problem for me. The gear in the down position is only held up by air pressure from an on board air pump. It failed three times during the three months that I tried to use the thing.
Harley would have charged me a bundle to take the device off my ride. I opted to buy a Trike and removing the Landing Gear was part of the deal that I demanded. Harley did not want to touch the thing, but did read up on how-to and did get it off and boxed, so I could take it to the seller to resell for me.
For many years, I said that I would never ride a Trike. At age 77 and still needing to ride two up, because my wife loves to ride with me, my only option was to get a Trike. After one day on the Trike, I love it!
