Bluebook is 10,690. In excellent condition. A bike is always worth what someone is willing to pay. But 5,000 over Bluebook is a hard pill to swallow for me. Trade in is 7800. So they are asking double trade in value.
It's funny that the seller doesn't even mention that it's a CVO. Obviously not a Harley dealer. I think it's worth more than has been mentioned so far. Everything loses value, but it was $29,000 when new. I think it's a great bike.
No way I'd give more than $8500. But I'm not in the market for an old SE RK.
That said, KBB says excellent condition retail in my area $16,760 (plain 2008 FLHR KBB in excellent condition is $10,690 . I call BS on KBB retail pricing. It will never bring that price here. Also, just from the pictures, I believe the condition is good to fair, not excellent.
