Will the check engine light come on in cold weather?

 

The light will come on in any kind of weather if their is a problem with the bike. pull the code and research.

The light could come ON at almost any weather.
A check engine light is a signal that a sensor has determined a malfunction or out of range situation.
It could be historical or on-going.
There was no indication of year, model, miles, modifications to bike or history of ownership.
So it would be difficult to provide a suggestion on how to maybe read a possible malfunction code.
There are many informed people on this forum and there is a possibility they could help if given some information.

 

When the light came on - did you check to see if the engine was there?
