Default Throttle assist

does anyone use this on there bike if so how do you like it. I have 12.5 apes on my streetglide and on long trips throttle hand goes numb lately. Was wondering if this would help out a bit.

Default Throttle rocker/ crampbuster ?

Is this what you mean? I use mine every ride. When I don't need it I just spin it forward out of the way.

The throttle lock on my Road King had been set as high as possible that it is almost like having CC. I have had the gadgets that wrap around the throttle grip and they were okay for about $10.00. Just don't need them.

Yes they work. I have one on the Dyna, don't need it on the Street Glide due to the cruise control. Have used a crampbuster as well.

I've used a number of them over the years.

I've got a very old one of these, it's worked very well for me on many different bikes.

It just barely holds the throttle in position when set, which suits me just fine. I can easily twist the throttle with it set, so no problems with emergencies and such.

This is another that intrigues me for its simplicity. No personal experience:

There are many variations on it now.

Personally, I don't care for cramp buster or similar. They'd slip fairly quickly, weren't easy to readjust on the fly and get in my way when I need to use the brake.

Many of the other throttle lockers are overly complex, and often times not that stable or secure.

Currently I've got a Road King with true cruise control. Still not sure how much I like it as compared to a simple throttle locker. Yes, it does a better job of holding a steady speed. But I do not like the bike rolling on the throttle under me without my input. I don't mind it in a car, but on a bike, I can find it a bit disconcerting.
