Default Alarm on bike
have to press the fob many times , when the lights flash for the alarm suggesting it is OFF , I put the key in and the alarm goes off , tried and failed 15 times

dead battery in fob???
What year bike?

Depends on the age of the bike, my 2003 Dyna had a push-button factory fob.

07 came with passive fob alarm that automatically arms once the fob is about 10' away from the bike. Older than that had the push button style.

OP Did you test the battery in your fob I've installed new ones and found them to be nfg.

My 05 Classic Springer was push button.

Check your battery in the fob.

Worse yet at one time HD's came without an alarm.
