Another month the 08s will be out. The 06 will be 3 model years old. Forslight increase inmoney you could be into the brand new machine. Call another dealer and tell them you have the identical 06 for sale and what it would be worth for them to buy it. This will tell the true value and I bet it will be thousands less. I would not settle for used if the new was closein value. Course it's your money and whatever makes you happy is what signs the check. One has to wonder why someone would put that much money in upgrades and blow it down the road in less than 3,000 miles.

I would buy it, that Baker tranny is worth a couple grand alone! test ride it and if you like it, BUY IT!!!! that's a good deal.... 2800 miles is hardly broke in, good as new to me!

well guys thanks for all the replys to my post, i went and picked her up today, had a 60 mile ride home and all i can say is wow what a ride she is, i wound up getting her for 16,000 and they gave me a 3 year warranty with all the extras, road hazard, a year of services and even financed my other bike to the guy who bought it, once again thanks for all the responses.

Well, get on and ride. I would take a baker and a good 95" kit over an '07 any day. JMHO. Glad you got the bike. Wish that deal was around when I got my bike.
