OP, that's a good battery. The point is clear that there are good batteries all over in the $100 range. No need to pay MoCo prices for the same battery, but people do.
Mine is a Duracell from Batteries Plus. I asked the manager there who made that battery. He said "East Penn, of course".
I like getting it local via a chain, easier in the event of a warranty issue.
BTW my Duracell came with a 2 year warranty, all others I found were 1 year. My 2 years are over, so what the heck...
Been using BatteryMart's Big Crank for years, get at least 4 years out of them, they have the Mega Crank on sale, just bought one, at $89 shipped.... 12v/30Ah/420cca.. If ya wanna go on the budget its a great value, otherwise the Deka is certainly the way to go.
Yup! Hard to beat a 500 cca battery. I bought the Yuasa you mentioned in the above link last Nov.
I too like their batteries, also produce batteries used in the security system industry.
My 14 RK never cranked with authority until I put the Yuasa in. Nice strong crank now.
I was NOT very happy with the last 2 deka batteries I got from battery blah blah dot com. At first I was happy with the 89$ price tag!!. one was the ultra mega 500cca other was the plain mega. one had chincey posts looked like rolled up metal egg rolls, looked cheap.slow death fell flat on there face in no time.
yausa doesnt even look close, no way they just slapped a sticker, maybe it came from same factory in reading PA, but night and day difference. imo id gladley had pay the 132$ if i had known. The great reviews con'ed me into a deka, big crank twice(sad face)

And then throw in what the new starter will cost you because the battery cranks so slowly - just burns it up. And if you think Deka
and Yuasa are made in the same plant I got a bridge to sell you.
To save a few bucks here's Yuasa's battery for the aftermarket -
