What has the world come to when a stock roadking leaves rubber on the road while pulling out from the light? When light changes to green I slipped the clutch and once fully engaged gave it some throttle and we were fishtailing. Next thing ya know HD will have to install traction control because the no ridin people will start dumping them in droves. Lol
In another thread where the OP was experience clutch issues, he explained that he wheelied his bike. Failing to answer how far he rode the wheelie, I gotta ask, how long of a burnout did you do? Got a pic of the patch you left?
Nope. I was thinking harley finally built a bike with the proper amount of power. Years ago I had a Yamaha road star that had pipes. Ported intake and a reset of the carb that would do the same thing. Break loose if you get on it hard in first gear. The M8 is a great engine
Oh I usually don't pucker too much. Used to the brain dead texting caters. One of them made me ride sideways in a lane once because stupid hit the back brake to hard and locked it up. I was adamant I wasn't going to drop it with the brand new real flame paint job. So I rode the slide out until the cater got past me and the front wheel got ahead of the rear. Dirt riding in the streets. Lol
I bunny hop stuff on my mountain bike quite often, I expect to give that a try with my Road King someday.
Last year I was on a ride just after dark with the Road King on a narrow twisty country road. No one else on the road - I thought - until I approached an old country house and there in the middle of my lane was an old dog laid out on the pavement. I did not see the old black dog until I was right there. He slowly raised His old sleepy head at the last second, I think I may have run over His whiskers, man it was close. Later I thought about the bunny hop thing.
Maybe the old dog was ready to just give up on it all, you know like suicide or something, who knows.
My seat got bite marks from that close encounter...

ok let me get this straight...... the "no riding folks" , not you... aint going to be able to control the power...but the riding folks " you " accidentally take off and do a burn out because they cant control the power... seems legit
