Default Anybody have controls like this on their bike?

http://hawghalters.com/hand-controls.../prod_460.html

So I was looking at a magazine and there was a road king in I hat had these controls. Does anyone have anything similar to these on their bike. how hard was install? any tips or problems I might run into...Im a little worried because I have a police bike and extra switches on my current controls. They don't run anything now but I thought it might be harder to install. Any help would be appreciated. My other thought was would I be able to use my current grips and levers . Ryan

If ya are good at wiring (rewiring) and playing with wierd relays, no problem... those buttons are only on while ya hold them down.

If you have a Touring bike you have more than three controls on each side. Those are great for a minimalist custom build, but not so suitable for a stock bike IMHO. My first Harley had press down flasher switches on each side - a real pain to operate in all situations!

The stock buttons are hard enough to find, why make it harder?

Those look like they belong on a Honda Shadow.

On a road King without cruise, isn't there only three buttons per side? High beam, horn, left turn. Start, kill, right turn. I think if you we going for a clean custom look, no problem. Unless they only offer momentary buttons. Then the high beam and kill switch would be hard to incorporate.

Honda shadow?..lol. I thought they looked good on the bike in the magazine....I would only need 3 buttons...I don't have any need for more Han that.....not sure what other buttons there are...lol.....maybe I'm missing some!....I might just leave it alone....

The other thing I was thinking was would I have to change my grips or levers to use with those controls?...rya

Sounds like a solution looking for a problem.
