Butt burn

So I rode with my local hog chapter with the legion of patriots flag. We were riding 55mph for 90 miles which was SSSSOOOOO SLOW I wanted to kill somebody. Anyways like 40 min after we started to ride I started getting major butt burn. Nothing I did helped for more than 5 min. I've not ever had butt burn on this bike except after 2.5+ hrs. Which I can usually fix by lifting my butt for a couple min. On the way back I rode 2.5 hrs straight back no butt burn at 70 to 80 mph.

I don't understand what happened. Rpms at 55 in 5th were around 2500.

Any ideas? I've group rode dozens of times. Just never at 55.

Hell mate, I love being in 4th gear doing 50 mph. I have an '08 RKC 6 speed. When I'm on my steed I am in no rush to get somewhere. Doing 80 mph is not fun either, its not that I cant ride. I come from many years racing superbikes but now on my steed I'm in cruise mode. Just my 2 cents is all. Hope you feel better..

Same here I went on a 4hr. ride today and rarely got above 60. Now that I'm older I enjoy the journey there more.

if thats the only time its happened, i wouldn't worry much about it. i had a tail bone problem. i went through three aftermarket seats before i found one i could ride on.
