Default Diamondback lines

I am not trying to turn this into a debate on which braided lines are the best choice.

As long as I am going to bleed the brake lines, I thought it was the best time to replace the lines and clutch cables on my 2011 Road King Classic with ABS with the chrome diamondback set. However, there are no part numbers on the HD parts site for different lines on the Classics. I need stock length. Am I too late to make the change using Harley parts?

Part numbers for a Classic should be the same as for a "regular" Road King.

I used Diamondback cables for my bar swap, no complaints.

Unless they have changed since I put the Diamondback cables on my bike in 2012, be aware that the clutch cable is only braided to the adjuster. It is a standard black rubber cable from the adjuster to the tranny.

If you want a braided clutch cable from the lever to the tranny, go with the Magnum Shielding cable.

The Harley site does not list any lines for the regular Road King either.

+1 on the Magnum shields.

Try the HD P&A book as it normally has a chart for OEM, chrome and black. The Diamondbacks have a protective coating, which frays after a while if the lines rub on anything.

The 2017 P7A catalog dedicates one page to the brake and cable lines, 657. It just describes the product with no length information or fitment information.

I don't have the newer P&A book, but a 2011. Five pages of the stuff for all HD bikes and years for the stock bars. The last page has a custom length chart, so might be there under the Cables in the index.

Here's something I found for the King fat bars, so it could be at other pages in the P&A...
