A set of stubby wrenches, couple of screwdrivers, T-handle Allen wrenches, 1/4' drive socket set, small vise grips, pliers, bailing wire, small flashlight, and finally some electrical and duct tape.

Harbor freight. Socket set with Allen and torx bits. Multi function screw driver with bits in the handle. Wire, zip ties, duct tape and a small led tactical flashlight... oh and a Leatherman multi function.

don't get crazy putting a lot in there..... spend couple hours with various wrenches and tools and check out various items on your bike. try to think what you might have to do on the road, or emergency repairs. why carry something you will never need on the road, let alone in the garage.... another fun rainy day project!!

The HD tool kit that comes with the bike. I, like others have a small flashlight and also a 12V tire repair kit..... Oh, and roadside assistance isn't a bad idea either.

I have a crescent wrench. Allens torx and sockets. Zip ties lock tite fuses and a kickstand spring. When you wrench on your bike at home, use your tool kit so you will know what you need and what is lacking.

before going on tours I'd load up the bike w/ tools, but the Windzone kit has about everything I've ever needed on the road. Its more $$ then I paid years ago but wait for a sale. I carry this and a few minor odds/ends (torx etc)

Sure, could piece it together oneself but this saves a lot of hassle.

I got tired of swapping tools from my toolbox to the bike back/forth etc. - then eventually overpacking on tools for a trip (guessing many have been there).

Nice to have a separate dedicated set of tools to leave in a saddlebag. YMMV
