Hey, go just a bit farther and replace the oil pan so you can upgrade the bike with a 09 model exhaust. I'm looking to do this with my 07 Road King. You can find a pan pretty cheap on Ebay.
i believe that link is for the 2006 and older hd fitment. the 2008 flhtcu
The Price $321.00 is exactly the same tho as the ones in your link and that's a deal cause I paid $359.00 a lil over a month ago for mine from parts giant. I tried posting the link for Cobra True Duals for 2008 and I guess im to computer illiterate to figure it out but if he goes to the search for exact fit onnhis bike he will see em.

Reason: Information add
Just pulled off the stock header with v&h slip ons and put on a full Rinehart tru dual stepped headers system with 4" mufflers. Got a 58mm throttle body from boardtracker and had it dyno tuned...tired of the bike not running to it's full potential so I sprung first a full dyno, had a pcv. Was it a lot of money for everything? Yup but every time I hit that throttle I feel like it was money well spent. Not only in sound but performance is pretty good...not to mention people turn to look to see what is going by now...08 cvo road king.
Thanks all for the responses. I am going to look into the Cobra system. My upgrades are S&S 551 chain drive cams, PCV, Big Sucker, and Reinhart slipons. I just did all the upgrades last winter. The bike was stock up till then. It's got almost 60,000 miles on it and it finally runs like it should.
Well I went with the Cobra true duels. I installed them tonight and threw a new tune on the PCV. I took her out for a short ride and my first impression was a big smile. They sound great with the Rinehart slipons and it seems to be running even better than before. I'm anxious to get some miles on it to see if my smile grows.
So a ceramic coated system is noticeably cooler? Really?
I have the Jackpot ceramic coated SS headpipes installed for two seasons. Yes, with less restriction, it is cooler. But I am sitting on an air-cooled twin cam with the exhaust below, so there is still heat. Was 95 on Monday... I know. One thing it did notice was the volume of the exhaust was significantly louder. Chased a cure for that for a year and solved it by installing V&H Monster Ovals. Also, I have a PCV and dynoed the bike when I put on the header, as I also added cams. You may get lucky by just installing the header without a flash to your bike..... Good luck.
I put a Fulsac DX pipe on after trying a decated header. The stock heat shields fit well. It cooled down the right side. The heats no longer an issue for the GF, even in this heat wave we are having. I'm sure there is a bump in performance but I'm not ready to pony up for another Dyno yet.
Another vote for Fulsac. Great product and even better customer service.
