I have an '07 RKC with stock seat and am attempting to install HD Rider Adjustable Backrest PN 52474-01A which the catalog says is for Road Glide and Road King Classic models.
The problem is I can't figure out where the adjustment handle is supposed to mount. The instructions seem to show it mounting to the frame rail on the left hand side under the seat, but I don't see any matching bolt holes.
I see in the included product brochure that some model seats have a flap on the seat that folds up and the handle fits flush into the left of the seat under the flap, but I don't have that on my RKC orig equip seat.
Anyone else gotten this installed on a RKC with stock seat? I'm thinking maybe I'll just install it without the adjustment handle for now.
OK, I see. I pull out the little wire clamp plug and reuse the supplied wire clip, put the bolt in that hole, and I guess the tab just hooks in the side of the large wiring holde.
