Default 2003 Road King Oil Capacity
My manual for my 2003 road king states that the oil capacity is 3.5 qt. However when I put 3.5 qts in it the dipstick still shows that I am a qt low. Has anyone else has this and if so what did you do?

Put in more oil, until you are happy with the dip stick indication. Seems obvious.

You have to check it when it is at operating temps as the oil will expand when hot.

Agreed! Fill to the dipstick, only use the quantity in the book as a guide. I usually fill to the lower mark, then take a ride for a few miles, to warm the bike through, then check and top-off if necessary.
