Default I need help

I'm trying to research what my motor options are for a 2006 ElectraGlide. I'm pretty sure it's an FLHT or standard carbed model. I found a 2015 Road Glide Motor dirt cheap on E Bay but I don't think it will fit that bike. Can somebody steer me in the right direction?

You need a 99-06 touring motor.

Can somebody steer me in the right direction?

Sure, go straight to Tech and Mechanical Forum, hang a left at Engine Mechanical Topics.

Sorry, couldn't resist. There is a thread called 2006 Electraglide Standard Engine Options in this section that has some good info for you.

It's my understanding that just a motor swap wiil not work for you with anything past an 06 engine.
But, if you're willing to do a complete motor and transmission swap I think you can use up to 16 model year.
Not an expert though...
