Default Recalled brake switch failed again!

Lost 90+℅ of rear brake function on my 2011 RK, 22k miles. Cleaned, flushed, no visible leaks. Happened suddenly, thought I fixed with flush and went out again suddenly 2 days (200 miles) later. Took to dealer, turns out was the brake switch sucking in air. Switch which WAS ALREADY RECALLED once before I owned it. About 20k on the new one. Sad. Stupid design to put it in the hydraulic system. Very fishy, stealer charged only $50. Asked why I had to pay anything for a previously recalled part and mumbled about policy.....they were closing and busy (and known as a bunch of crooks) so I just wanted to get out of there without a hassle. Didn't even get the old part back....said it was in my bag and it wasn't. Went home and reported to NHTSA. Watch yours! They said it was 'wet' but I didn't see anything and not a drop of fluid anywhere.

Stupid design to put it in the hydraulic system ... Okay, where else could it monitor pressure, after all it is a pressure switch.

Simple plunger switch on the pedal/arm assembly. Never good practice to introduce a potential leak path in a pressure line of any type...let alone a safety system...
