2006 Electra Glide Classic Starting and ideling problem
On my way to Sturgis after fueling my 2006 Electra Glide Classic would not start. I opened the throttle all the way and it finally started. as the trip when on this problem went from occasionally to every time I tried to start the bike when hot. I also started to encounter idling problems when hot as well (starts and idles fine when cold). I took the bike to Black Hills Harley during the rally and they said it was not throwing any codes but said I had a hole in the fuel line and replaced that. The problems continued and on the last day of the trip my fuel gage also started acting up (staying on full, dropping, and returning to full when the tank is not full). I pulled the TPS and checked the throttle shaft and did not find any problems there. Given all three of these issue occurred within a few days of each other I'm not sure if I have one or three problems.
