Just some updated pics of the FLHP
Stickers on the back of the bags hide some damage from the removal of extra cop stuff. I really like this backrest I bolted to the rack. Lets me use the rack as needed, but still keeps my son from falling off. 4 bolts and it's off. If only I could remember who makes it . . .
Some used ebay Rush Big Louies. While not that loud, at least it sounds like a Harley now.
Keeping the stock AC cover - ya know, it says "police"
14" inch Khrome Werks apes. Very comfortable. At 6' 2" with the police seat, I probably should have gone with 16" Oh well.
Combination of makes for extended shifters for heel and toe. Tallboy brackets and 1" spacers. Had to get a longer peg for the toe shifter. Got the rear in the perfect spot to upshift by hitting it level with the footboard.
Added some emblems that I think fit the "feel" of a police bike - while not pretending to be an active cop ride. I got tired of people asking me it it was a Harley. I put them a little too far forward. Damn
That's it. Still loving this King. No regrets selling my Dyna (which was also great) for this. Too bad I had to do all of this stuff as a tall guy, but now she fits like a glove.
Ride safe!
