Default true track affects

I installed a true track LR to my 00 ultra classic. I have the lowering blocks on the rear to drop the back 1 inch. I installed the tt and the bike seems to be taller I feel it is between 1/2 to 1 inch taller. I did the drop primarily for looks but also for better leverage when backing it up. I do not see any where that the tt should cause bike to be higher unless the engine was sagging in the frame. I do not see tension on the tt. I replaced the donuts on the swing arm last year. which caused more vibration, but did not change the stance.

any thoughts

I am planning taking off the lowering blocks any way.

I installed one on my 04 and didn't notice any change in height. Maybe try disconnecting one end (of the TT) and see if it makes a difference.

I have had a T-T kit on my older Glide for many years and with no change in ride height. I also installed one on a Dyna, also with no change. I can't see any way that the kit can alter ride height, as it doesn't come into contact with any part of the bike to allow it to do that.

That is what I thought as well. I had to use a jack to lift the motor to slide the puck in on the intake side of the bike. I am thinking it is the front motor mount. but bike is riding taller. I do not feel excessive tension on the t-t.

i too can't see how it could increase ride height when installed correctly. Not even sure how to do it installed incorrectly, but that would be my suspicion of the cause.

remove gas cap, stay with me, slide bike from under it. Slide a new bike under said gas cap. Replace gas cap. Problem solved since ya can't change the loose nut on top of the seat.

seriously tho, take a fender height measurement before and after the tt is installed. Might just be mental.
