I lived in the area for 10 years and now live in the eastern part of the State. We have some great rides in every part of the State. Bring your bike, you'll love it but do watch your speed as the cops are unforgiving up here. I was out riding today and each time out find another new thing I hadn't noticed before. The country side is beautiful with many twists and turns just perfect for a bike ride.
There's no way I'd consider riding around WI, that area especially. Ugly, ugly country, crazy cagers, crazy Cheeseheads, bad roads, etc. I would even bring my family in a car.
