Default Charging Issues

Yesterday
I have the 1.25 amp Harley Davidson charger hooked up to the pigtail on my 2016 street glide. I plug the bike in then plug the charger into the wall. I get a steady amber for a couple hours. after that I get a steady amber and a blinking green simultaneously. I checked the P&A fuse and it looked good so I swapped it with the radio fuse to be sure. the radio still works.
Today
I tried a different 1.25 amp charger and the charging light stayed on for more than 9 hours and wouldn't go to tender mode either. I have had it on the chargers a total of 32 hours without going to tender mode. My P&A fuse is still good.

could someone please help me figure out what's going on???
Please and Thanks!!!

Have you tried plugging into the wall first and then plugging into the bike?

Have you checked the battery condition/voltage/state of charge?

No I haven't tried to plug the charger in first. The battery is 1 season old, should be charged and it did start the bike a few days ago. I'm getting it ready to store and would really like it to go to trickle mode

Check voltage of battery with a multimeter. Just because the battery is one season old, doesn't mean it can't go bad.

Check the voltage thru the pigtail, if there is no reading the fuse in the pigtail is blown, Then try from post to post,12.7v is minimum for a start. If the bike starts check charge rate at 2300rpm, should be around 14.4-14.5v. Did you try putting that charger on a car/other vehicle? A dead AGM is toast.

All good suggestions, but is there a drain when the bike is off? Not a dead short, but perhaps something is drawing current from the battery when the bike is off? Not saying this is the case, just another something to check.

Thanks for all the ideas, I'll bring my fluke meter home with me when I leave work in the am. I was'nt aware the pigtail was fused, makes sense.

The SAE connector lead goes to the Accessories Fuse. It's a 20 Amp fuse under the left side cover.

Modern bikes with all the electronics always have a current draw. I don't remember the exact numbers but it is in the mA range.
