Default Help Identifying Exhaust

They were on the bike when I bought it and they are pretty loud. No baffles but I do see 2 bolt holes on the bottom where I can add baffles. Problem is I have have no clue as to what brand they are so I can buy the correct baffles. No stamps or part numbers on them. Any guesses are appreciated.

Not too sure if it's a Rush. The tapered side is too rounded for a Rush. From the pic, it also looks like the tapered end has a weld seam. Most top brands have a smooth taper with no seams or welds.

Those look like Rush. I have an older set of straight cuts with one bolt. Rush changed over to the two bolt baffle later on. You can order baffles and wrap from Rush Racing, or search for others that sell the baffles.

Rush uses the round stand off. Measure the ID of the muffler.

No weld. Just looks that way in the pic.

I'm not quite sure what exhaust you have, but our Thunder Torque Inserts™ work sort of like a baffle, and since you already have baffle holes, installation should be a breeze.

We've had many customers remove their baffles from various types of exhaust and put these in place simply for the gain in low and mid range torque, which is achieved by the TTIs even with stock exhaust.

Check out this Dyno:

Not only do you get a gain in performance, they really deepen the tone of your exhaust, giving it a throatier growl. Gives a pretty badass sound.

They are completely adjustable as well, so that you can work with them until you hit your "sweet spot", getting the sound and tone you're looking for.

Check out this video:

Since I don't know what exhaust you have, I can't say exactly what size you'd need. But I can tell you this...

If the inside diameter is anything less than 3", you'll want to go with the 158 TTIs. If it's 3" or larger, then you would go with the 258.

The idea to use the largest inserts that will fit into your exhaust for the most optimal results in performance as well as sound.

They are really one of the most satisfying mods you can do to your bike because the results are exponential for a relatively low cost product, $30.

Here is a LINK to our Thunder Torque Inserts™.

Those are 3.5" cans. Rush, Wild Pig and other make baffles.
