I bought a pair, but have not installed them. The directions say to use hair spray. I don't have hair, so no hair spray. What did you use?

I do not recall anything about hairspray. However, I just soaked them in soapy water then installed them. You should wait overnight for the water to dry. Have put them two bikes this way.

I put tennis racket grip-tape over my stock grips. Made a great difference. Even though the grip-tape has adhesive on the back, I had to secure the ends with electrical tape to keep it from unraveling. It looks OK to me. Not as fancy as a set of HD grips, but for about $10.00 I can live with it. The photos below don't show 'em very well. I could take a better close up photo, but my bike is out in the shop. It's cold out, it's rainy...and I don't wanna go.

Is that a thermostat I see on the wall? It can't be that cold! 😉

I'm using these; http://www.arlenness.com/prodcat/grip14.asp however I second the adjustable backrest, it's the best item I've spent money on for comfort.

I like these too, albeit a tad on the pricey side.

If you had Kury before, they make an ISO grip that is chrome and rubber. Oval in shape so you place the flatter sides the way that's more comfortable for you.
